Starting at $20.00 per hour with regular skill-based wage increases Job Summary We are seeking a dependable, safety-minded Equipment Operator to join our team at our Harrisburg yard. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous heavy equipment experience who is looking to build a long-term career. Experience operating a front-end loader is strongly preferred, as it provides the foundation for learning additional equipment, including cranes. Schedule Monday through Friday 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM Occasional Saturday mornings as needed (typically voluntary) Compensation & Growth Starting pay: $20.00 per hour Performance and skill evaluations every six months Earn a $1.00 per hour increase for each of the four pieces of equipment you become proficient in operating Opportunities for continued advancement and long-term career growth Responsibilities Safely operate a front-end loader and other heavy equipment Learn to operate additional equipment, including cranes Load, unload, move, and organize materials throughout the yard Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs Follow all company safety policies and operating procedures Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe Work as part of a team to maintain efficient yard operations Qualifications Previous experience operating a front-end loader strongly preferred Experience with other heavy equipment is a plus Ability to learn and safely operate multiple types of equipment Strong work ethic and reliable attendance Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Commitment to workplace safety Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when needed What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is dependable, eager to learn, and interested in developing new equipment operating skills.
