Skilled Equipment Operators - Excavator / Skid Steer / Forklift Summit Skilled Solutions is hiring 2 Skilled Equipment Operators for an upcoming oil and gas compressor station construction project in Apollo, Pa We are looking for experienced operators who are comfortable working on an active industrial construction site. Candidates with previous oil & gas, pipeline, compressor station, or heavy industrial construction experience are strongly preferred . Position Responsibilities Safely operate excavators, skid steers, and forklifts as required Perform material handling, excavation, grading, and site preparation Load, unload, move, and stage construction materials Assist construction crews with daily site activities Operate equipment safely around personnel, structures, underground utilities, and other equipment Perform routine equipment inspections and identify mechanical or safety issues Maintain clean and organized work areas Follow all site-specific safety procedures and instructions Work productively as part of a larger industrial construction crew Perform other equipment operation and general construction duties as assigned Required Qualifications Demonstrated experience operating heavy equipment Experience with excavators, skid steers, and/or forklifts

OSHA 10 OR PEC

Safeland certification required FR II clothing required Ability to safely operate equipment in an industrial construction environment Ability to follow site safety procedures and directions Reliable transportation to the jobsite Ability to work outdoors and perform physically demanding work as needed Preferred Experience Previous oil & gas industry experience Compressor station construction Pipeline construction Industrial construction Heavy civil construction Experience working around natural gas facilities Experience operating multiple types of heavy equipment Additional equipment or safety certifications Work Environment This position will be performed on an active oil and gas compressor station construction site in Proctor, WV. Operators should be comfortable working outdoors around heavy equipment, construction materials, excavation activities, and other industrial site hazards.
