Job Description

Long® Fence, the industry leader for over 80 years, is seeking an experienced Equipment Operator familiar with guide rail or fence installation for various projects in the state of Pennsylvania.

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Operator to support fence and guide rail construction projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating a variety of construction equipment and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate construction equipment including: Truck-mounted drills and post driving equipment, Skid steers, Mini excavators, Forklifts and other equipment as needed. Perform fence and guide rail installation work. Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs. Load, unload, and transport materials safely. Follow all safety regulations, job site procedures, and project plans. Work effectively with crew members and supervisors. Maintain a clean and organized job site.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience operating construction equipment. Demonstrated experience operating truck-mounted drills and post drivers, skid steers, and mini excavators. Ability to work safely on active construction sites. Valid driver's license required. CDL is a plus, but not required.
Schedule Regular hours:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Night shift work and weekend on occasion, as required by project needs.
Shift Requirements:
This position may require night shift work. The night shift work is project specific and can be assigned periodically.
Compensation:
Minimum Pay Rate is $23.00 per hour Maximum Pay Rate is $28.00 per hour Pay is dependent upon experience.

Additional Requirements:
All candidates must pass a Pre-Employment Drug Test, which includes Marijuana. Medical Marijuana Cards are not acceptable as a Federal Contractor. All candidates must possess a Valid Driver's License. All candidates must be able to commute to the office daily. This position may require night shift work and/or weekend work. The night shift work is project specific and can be assigned periodically.
