Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Electrician to join our team and contribute to the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems across various commercial and industrial settings. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, including new construction, renovations, and ongoing system upgrades. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of electrical codes, safety procedures, and troubleshooting techniques, ensuring all work is performed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards. Duties Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments using hand tools and power tools Generator and EV charging installations. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring layouts and system configurations. Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely while adhering to NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association) standards and local electrical codes. Diagnose electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and troubleshooting skills Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to ensure ongoing safety compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) requirements. Collaborate with construction teams during new builds or renovation projects to install electrical infrastructure according to project specifications. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including inspection reports, schematic updates, and compliance records. Experience Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings with a strong background in electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting. Demonstrated knowledge of industrial electrical systems, high-voltage wiring, and low-voltage applications. Hands-on experience reading electrical blueprints, schematics, and blueprints related to construction or renovation projects. Familiarity with NFPA 70 standards, NEC regulations, and local electrical codes ensuring all work meets safety requirements. Experience working on construction sites or renovation projects with a focus on safety procedures and quality workmanship. $36.00 - $50.00 per hour
