Senior VoIP/FreeSWITCH Engineer Work Location:
Austin, TX / Sunnyvale, CA (Hybrid) Contract duration: 12+ Months Interview mode Video interview
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced FreeSWITCH Engineer with strong expertise in VoIP and real-time communication technologies . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with FreeSWITCH, WebRTC, SIP, and video conferencing systems . This role involves designing, developing, and supporting scalable voice and video communication platforms .
Required Skills:
Strong experience with FreeSWITCH Experience with WebRTC and VoIP technologies Knowledge of SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) Experience with video transcoding and media servers Understanding of MCU (Multi-Point Control Unit) architectures Experience working with Linux-based systems
Preferred:
Experience building real-time communication platforms Telecom or unified communications background.
