In this role, you'll work alongside experienced grading crews on projects throughout the Charleston area, including commercial sites, highways, interstates, ports, and other major infrastructure projects. What You'll Do As a Light Equipment Operator, you'll operate a variety of equipment and support daily grading operations on active jobsites.

Equipment may include:

Sweeper trucks Rollers Front-end loaders Backhoes Off-road trucks Other light grading equipment You'll also: Perform grading and sitework activities on heavy civil construction projects Operate equipment safely around crews, traffic, and active jobsites Prepare and stabilize soil and other materials Use hand tools and power tools when needed Help clean and prepare jobsites Dig trenches, set braces, clean debris, and support excavation work Maintain equipment and keep it in good working condition Communicate with your crew to meet safety, production, and quality goals Assist with other duties as directed by the site supervisor What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is dependable, safety-minded, and ready to be part of a hardworking team.
