We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, operates equipment safely, and works well as part of a construction crew. Job Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently, including excavators, dozers, skid steers, and other construction equipment. Perform site preparation activities like grading, excavation, and site clearing, and material handling. Dig footings, trenches, and other areas according to project specifications. Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or repair needs. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Follow company safety policies and jobsite procedures. Work closely with foremen, laborers, and other crew members. Assist with general construction duties when needed. Qualifications Previous heavy equipment operating experience required. Experience with excavators, dozers, and skid steers strongly preferred. Ability to understand grades, elevations, and basic site plans. Experience with Topcon GPS machine control systems is a plus. Knowledge of construction jobsite safety practices. Dependable transportation and reliable attendance. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to perform physical construction-related duties as needed. Must be able to work well with others and follow instructions.
