2987667154-2 Apply for this job now Job Description EquipmentShare is seeking a Heavy Equipment CDL Driver to safely transport construction equipment to and from customer jobsites. In this field-based role, you'll operate CDL-class trucks, load and secure a variety of heavy machinery, and complete pre- and post-trip inspections. You'll coordinate closely with dispatch and jobsite teams to ensure on-time deliveries while following DOT, OSHA and company safety standards. Responsibilities Safely operate CDL-class trucks to transport heavy construction equipment to and from jobsites Load, secure and unload equipment using proper tie-down and safety procedures Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs Coordinate with dispatch, rental coordinators and jobsite crews for on-time deliveries and pickups Maintain accurate delivery logs, DVIRs and electronic records in company systems Follow DOT, company safety, and OSHA regulations at all times Assist with basic equipment checks and positioning on customer sites Represent Equipment Share professionally with customers and the public Use telematics and digital tools to receive routes and job information Required Skills CDL Class A truck driving Heavy equipment transport Load securement and tie-down DOT compliance and hours-of-service Pre-trip and post-trip inspections Use of telematics/dispatch systems Basic vehicle and trailer safety checks Route planning and time management Customer service and communication OSHA and site safety awareness
