Aggregates About Us Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. What You'll Be Doing Operate off-road haul trucks to safely and efficiently transport aggregate materials throughout the quarry. Conduct pre-operational equipment inspections and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns. Follow established safety procedures, traffic patterns, and operating guidelines at all times. Support production goals by transporting materials to designated loading, dumping, and processing areas. Communicate effectively with supervisors, dispatch personnel, and team members to maintain efficient operations. What Are We Looking For Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy mobile equipment in an industrial, mining, construction, or similar environment. Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance with company policies and procedures. Ability to perform equipment inspections, recognize potential issues, and communicate concerns effectively. Dependable work ethic with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Ability to adapt to changing operational priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced outdoor setting. Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to comply with all company safety requirements. Work Environment Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level. Physical Demands Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and access equipment platforms; enter and exit haul unit multiple times throughout the shift. Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods while operating and inspecting equipment. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials or equipment components weighing up to 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and visual awareness.
