Job Summary Jhabores Construction Company is seeking an experienced and dependable Heavy Equipment Haul Truck Driver to transport construction equipment and materials to and from job sites safely and efficiently. This position is critical to daily operations and requires strong communication, attention to safety, and the ability to operate specialized hauling equipment. This is a home-daily position — no over-the-road hauling. Duties Safely load, secure, transport, and unload heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, trench boxes, attachments, etc.) Operate lowboy, flatbed, and/or equipment trailers Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections Properly secure loads using chains, binders, and straps Coordinate with foremen, and field crews for scheduling and site access Maintain accurate delivery logs, tickets, and inspection reports Comply with DOT regulations and company safety policies Identify safe haul routes and manage oversized loads when required Navigate residential streets, subdivisions, and active work zones Keep truck and trailer clean and in working order Experience Valid Class A CDL (Required) Medical DOT card (Required) Clean driving record Experience hauling heavy equipment (preferred 5+ years) Knowledge of load securement and weight distribution Ability to pass DOT drug screening and physical Strong awareness of jobsite hazards and safety procedures
