Overview The Transloader primary responsibility is to safely and timely unload concrete out of the rail cars to trucks within the rail yard, located in Denison. You will be responsible for the daily unloading of concrete (possibly sand). Duties Be sure that truck personnel are following the proper guidelines when picking up at the facility. Safely and efficiently manage the unloading of railcars to trucks of concrete/sand. Efficient and safe operations of equipment while operating transload conveyor. Maintains quality customer service by following organization standards. Keeps management apprised of any delays or discrepancies. Maintains safe and clean work environment in the rail yard and surrounding area. Complies with standard operating procedures, rules, and regulations. Maintain accurate inventory counts (empty and full rail cars.) Contributes to team effort while working with other members to accomplish related goals and results. Maintains a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner which facilitates the success of company operations. May perform other duties as assigned by leadership (clean tracks, mow terminal yard, small hand on tasks) Experience No experience necessary. Willing to train. Previous experience in heavy equipment operation is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand and troubleshoot machinery. Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. A commitment to safety and adherence to operational guidelines.
