Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Excavator Operator to join our aggregate team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating heavy construction machinery, particularly excavators, to perform a variety of excavation and utility work tasks. Your expertise will ensure that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Duties Operate excavators and other heavy machinery such as loaders, backhoes, and water trucks with precision and safety awareness In a rock quarry. Perform excavation tasks including trenching, grading, site preparation, and utility installation in accordance with project specifications. Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on construction equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Follow federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures diligently to maintain a safe work environment. Assist with construction grading, site leveling, and utility locating to support various phases of construction projects. Coordinate with team members to execute construction utility work efficiently while adhering to project timelines. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance activities, and safety checks in compliance with company policies. Qualifications Proven experience operating excavators and other heavy construction machinery in a commercial or Rock quarry setting. Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction machinery maintenance and troubleshooting. Ability to perform construction utility work such as utility locating and site grading accurately. Valid commercial driver's license with experience in commercial truck driving; experience with water trucks is a plus. Knowledge of federal construction safety regulations, equipment safety procedures, and general safety regulations. rock quarry site experience with familiarity in excavation, backhoe operation, loader operation, and general construction practices. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. Relevant certifications in heavy equipment operation or related fields are preferred but not mandatory.
