Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will operate a variety of construction machinery to facilitate building projects, site preparation, and material handling. Your expertise will ensure that operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations and industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale projects using your technical skills and mechanical knowledge. Duties Operate heavy machinery including loaders, backhoes, cranes, Caterpillar equipment, front loader trucks, roll-off trucks, and farm machinery with precision and safety. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on construction equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Handle materials efficiently using material handling equipment such as forklifts and other hydraulic-powered tools. Follow all safety procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and team members. Assist in site preparation activities such as grading, excavation, and debris removal using appropriate machinery. Conduct daily safety checks and report any mechanical issues or hazards promptly to supervisors. Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate equipment use and ensure timely project completion. Experience Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and safety regulations. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience in commercial truck driving, including front loader trucks, roll-off trucks, and other large vehicles. Hands-on experience operating cranes, loaders (including Caterpillar), backhoes, and farm machinery in various construction environments. Mechanical knowledge related to construction machinery maintenance and hydraulics systems. Familiarity with occupational safety regulation compliance and proper use of hand tools on-site. Prior experience in concrete mixer operation and general construction experience is highly desirable. Ability to follow detailed instructions while maintaining high standards for safety and efficiency. Pay:
$20.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 50.0 per week
