Yard & Equipment Operations Position Summary We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Yardman with a strong work ethic to manage, organize, and maintain our fleet of medium to heavy equipment. In this role, you will oversee yard organization, process equipment returns and releases, interact with customers, and support various operational tasks. The ideal candidate is highly flexible, eager to learn, and capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Assistance:

Warmly and professionally greet incoming customers. Guide and assist customers with safe vehicle parking for loading and unloading equipment. Deliver excellent service and maintain a cheerful, team-oriented attitude.

Equipment Processing:

Perform visual inspections of returned equipment and document condition with photos. Verify serial numbers, log equipment operating hours, and record fuel levels. Track and handle equipment movements as items return or leave for rental. Immediately report any equipment or facility damage to management.

Yard Maintenance & Organization:

Safely operate, park, and arrange construction and consumer equipment neatly in the yard. Maintain clean, safe, and orderly yard grounds and facilities.

Safety & Team Operations:

Strictly follow all safety rules, policies, and regulations to support a safe working environment. Maintain open communication with team members and assist other departments as needed. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management. Position Qualifications Minimum High School Diploma or GED required. Valid driver's license required. Ability to pass a criminal background check at the time of hire.

Technical Skills & Abilities:

Excellent mechanical aptitude. Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy construction and consumer equipment. High accuracy and strong attention to detail.
