This position requires someone who is physically capable, motivated, and willing to work long hours outdoors in tough conditions. This is not a "stand around" job — you will work. The right candidate will assist with ground work and also operate equipment as needed. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and wants steady employment with opportunity to grow. Responsibilities Assist operators and crew with daily construction tasks Operate equipment when needed (skid steer, dozer, loader, roller, water truck, etc.) Load and unload materials and tools Maintain clean and organized job sites Follow safety procedures at all times Travel to out-of-town jobs when required Requirements Physically fit and capable of lifting 50+ lbs repeatedly Comfortable working outdoors in heat, cold, wind, and dust Willing to work 50-70 hours per week when required Basic equipment operation experience preferred Valid driver's license required (CDL is a plus) Reliable transportation to job site Drug-free and dependable Good attitude and team-oriented Preferred Qualifications Experience in heavy civil construction Experience operating dozers, graders, skid steers, or water trucks GPS/machine control experience is a plus Mechanical ability is a plus Compensation Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Overtime available Steady work with long-term opportunities Advancement potential for motivated employees Health Insurance (70 % paid by Employer) Vision Dental Paid Time Off Drug-Free Workplace Policy (Zero Tolerance) This company operates heavy equipment and performs safety-sensitive work.
