Full-Time Opportunities Available Build Your Career with TSJ Construction TSJ Construction is seeking experienced, dependable Heavy Equipment Operators to join our field operations team. What You'll Do As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will play a key role in supporting daily project operations.

Responsibilities include:

Performing daily pre-operation inspections on equipment Operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently on job sites Running equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, backhoes, scrapers, forklifts, and skid steers Maintaining equipment and reporting any mechanical issues Communicating effectively with supervisors and crew members Following all site safety protocols and company standards Assisting with additional tasks to support field operations including groundwork What We're Looking For Required Qualifications MSHA Surface Miner part 46 or part 48 Experience operating heavy equipment at an MSHA regulated pit Basic knowledge of maintenance and inspections of crushing equipment Ability to follow safety procedures and MSHA jobsite protocols Ability to work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs Reliable and team-oriented mindset Preferred Qualifications Experience operating an excavator and/or dozer at an aggregate crushing pit Experience working around crews and multiple pieces of equipment Familiarity with grade control and crushing equipment Work Environment Outdoor work in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, dust, wind, etc.) Frequent exposure to active construction zones and heavy equipment Physically demanding work including lifting, pushing, and pulling Compliance with strict safety standards and procedures Benefits & Perks TSJ Construction offers a competitive benefits package designed to support you on and off the job: Competitive pay based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance (for eligible employees) 401(k) retirement plan with company match Paid time off and holidays (for eligible employees) Opportunities for overtime on active projects Career advancement opportunities within a growing company Company-provided PPE and strong safety programs Team-oriented culture focused on respect and support Why Join TSJ Construction? $25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 50.0 per week
