In this vital role, you'll work on diverse construction sites, utilizing your expertise with heavy equipment to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality work. Your mechanical skills and experience with different types of machinery will drive the success of our projects, from site preparation to finishing touches. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and other machinery to perform tasks including grading, digging, lifting, and moving materials. Manage various trucks including dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, front loader trucks, and tanker trucks to transport materials safely across the site. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on machinery like Caterpillar equipment and farm machinery to ensure optimal performance. Assist with site preparation by leveling ground, excavating trenches, and setting foundations using appropriate equipment. Follow safety protocols diligently while working around construction sites to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations. Coordinate with team members to execute tasks efficiently while maintaining clear communication throughout project phases. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance logs for accountability and safety compliance. Requirements Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and other machinery in a construction environment. Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment operation and troubleshooting basic issues. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience driving various trucks including dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, front loader trucks, and tanker trucks. Familiarity with construction site safety standards and protocols. Ability to read technical manuals and follow operational procedures accurately. Experience working with different types of machinery including concrete mixers and farm equipment is a plus. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively on-site.
