Copper Rock Infrastructure LLC is hiring a dependable, safety-minded Hydro Excavation Operator to join our team in Utah. We are looking for someone who is comfortable operating commercial equipment, working around active construction and utility sites, and taking pride in keeping their truck and equipment in excellent condition. Position Responsibilities Operate hydro excavation/vacuum trucks safely and efficiently Perform potholing/daylighting, trenching, utility exposure, cleanouts, vacuum work, and other hydro excavation services Safely operate high-pressure water and vacuum systems Drive commercial vehicles to and from job sites Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections Maintain accurate DVIRs, job documentation, and required DOT records Perform basic daily truck and equipment maintenance Keep truck, tools, and work areas clean and organized Work safely around underground utilities, traffic, heavy equipment, and construction crews Follow Copper Rock, customer, OSHA, and DOT safety requirements Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and other crew members
Qualifications:
Valid Class B CDL or higher Air Brake endorsement/qualification Tanker endorsement Current DOT Medical Certificate Acceptable driving record Ability to meet applicable

drug and alcohol testing requirements

Dependable and shows up on time Safety-conscious Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Able to perform physical work associated with hoses, tools, and hydro excavation equipment Takes care of company equipment Able to work independently and as part of a crew Willing to work occasional early mornings, nights, weekends, or overtime when projects require it Professional attitude with customers and coworkers
