Join Town of Orange Road Crew - Help Keep Our Town Moving! We're looking for a full-time Road Crew Member to help keep our roads safe, smooth, and ready for every season. From plowing snow in winter to grading in summer, you'll be part of the team that keeps our community connected. Role On the

Crew:

• Operate and maintain heavy equipment such as plow trucks, graders, loaders, and mowers.
• Perform year-round road maintenance, including plowing, sanding, salting, grading, and patching.
• Repair and maintain drainage systems, culverts, and roadside ditches to prevent flooding and erosion.
• Assist with bridge cleaning, roadside mowing, and debris removal to maintain visibility and safety.
• Keep accurate daily records of work performed, materials used, and equipment maintenance.
• Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a culture of safety and teamwork.

Skills Needed:

• Experience operating heavy equipment and commercial vehicles (CDL Class B or higher preferred).
• Knowledge of road maintenance techniques, materials, and seasonal best practices.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and respond to emergency callouts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong teamwork skills and a commitment to serving the public.
• Mechanical aptitude for basic equipment maintenance and repairs.
