Job Description
Seeking a Calendar Operator in the Brattleboro, VT area . This is a full time third shift position offering $18.40/hour .
Responsibilities:
Operate calender and calender trains to produce sheeting to product specification Primary responsibility is operation of calender and trains, secondary responsibility is direction of mills and strainer Communicate with others in the Primary department to maximize equipment runnability and uptime Use calender schedule to produce specified number and type of sheets Perform other duties as directed by supervision Monitor and inspect the sheet as it is wound onto the shell Doffing shells Housekeeping in the calender area Maintain talc application system and talc supply Operate material handling equipment including fork trucks, pallet jacks, and hoists Enter data on charts, reports, and graphsRequirements:
Five years operating calender or other heavy industrial machinery Minimum of four years primary department with a minimum of one year as a qualified Calender inspector, or have previously qualified as a Calender Operator Occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 poundsHours:
Sunday-Thursday 11:00pm-7:00am J28425Pay:
