Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Heavy Equipment Operator and play a vital role in constructing and maintaining infrastructure projects with precision and efficiency. This energetic position offers the opportunity to operate a wide range of heavy machinery, ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion of construction tasks. Responsibilities Operate various heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and other machinery to perform earthmoving, grading, lifting, and material handling tasks. Safely operate trucks such as front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, to transport materials across construction sites. Conduct routine inspections of equipment before and after use to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are maintained. Follow all safety protocols and procedures diligently while working around construction tools and heavy-duty vehicles. Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks effectively and ensure project deadlines are met without compromising safety or quality. Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, maintenance needs, and operational reports for project documentation. Experience Preferred 2 years of experience Mechanical knowledge of machinery and familiarity with maintenance procedures. Knowledge of construction site safety practices and ability to adhere strictly to OSHA standards. Strong understanding of construction processes involving earthmoving, grading, excavation with excavators or backhoes. Ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical issues independently is a plus.
Pay:
$40.00 - $45.00 per hour
