About Us:
Gavers Pavers is a growing asphalt paving company seeking motivated, hardworking individuals to join our asphalt paving crew. This position is ideal for someone who wants to further their experience with a skilled trade, grow within the company, and become a long-term, valued member of our team. We offer plenty of opportunities for advancement for employees who put in the effort, and we are expanding our crew to better meet the growing needs of our customer base.
Responsibilities:
Perform a broad array of routine tasks that are needed to make the work of operators flow smoothly Load, unload, and move construction materials around the worksite Dig and fill holes where heavy equipment is not practical Level asphalt to fine grade specifications using rake and shovel Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites Operate pneumatic hammers, vibrators, and tampers as directed Perform a variety of tasks involving manual labor This is a safety sensitive position.
Skills needed:
Ability to work as a team member Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. Ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment Ability to pass a drug test & a background check Trailer experience is a plus Must have a valid driver's license Pay is based off of experience.
