Job Description:
Mike's Towing is seeking a dependable and experienced Heavy Duty Wrecker Operator to join our team. This position involves towing and recovery of heavy-duty vehicles including tractor-trailers, buses, and large commercial equipment. Operators must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
Perform heavy-duty towing and recovery operations Operate heavy wreckers and recovery equipment safely Secure and transport commercial vehicles and equipment Complete service documentation and reports Communicate professionally with customers, law enforcement, and dispatch Perform routine inspection and basic maintenance of assigned equipment Respond to calls during scheduled shifts and on-call periods
Qualifications:
CDL Class A required (or ability to obtain) Experience operating heavy wreckers or related equipment preferred Strong understanding of towing and recovery procedures Ability to work in all weather and road conditions Clean driving record Professional attitude and strong work ethic Ability to lift and handle heavy equipment
