Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Auto Technician Mechanic and become a vital part of delivering exceptional automotive service! Duties Perform general maintenance tasks such as oil changes, changing air filters, checking and changing brakes and rotors, rotating tires, checking and changing ball joints, tie rods and all other front end safety parts. Conduct wheel alignments, suspension repairs, and vehicle maintenance to optimize handling and safety . Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, vehicle lifts, tire changing machines, and heavy lifting techniques to execute repairs with precision. Dismount and Mount tires. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems efficiently. Perform computer diagnostic using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately across various vehicle manufacturers. Experience At least one year experience or equivalent background in automotive repair environments. Basic mechanical knowledge of automotive engine systems, powertrain components, and vehicle systems. Experience in performing general mechanical repair tasks. Familiarity with wheel alignment procedures is a bonus but not required. Ability to perform heavy lifting and perform duties in a safe manner. WV State Inspection license is preferred, however can be obtained at a later date. We are an extremely busy, locally owned and operated auto repair business in Masontown, WV -- Just 10 miles from Morgantown. We are looking for individuals who have previous experience in auto repair. Starting hourly wage will vary to reflect the level of experience.
