Load and unload pipe and other materials from trucks and railcars, ensuring proper handling and secure placement.
Assist in ensuring pipe racks are maintained in a safe and organized condition.
Verify loads are properly secured and compliant with safety standards prior to transport.
Count and verify materials against shipping documents; assist with inventory control and reconciliation.
Conduct routine inspections and perform minor maintenance on forklifts and related equipment.
Maintain adherence to all safety procedures while performing material handling and equipment operation.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to meet physical requirements established by the Department of Transportation, including drug/alcohol testing. Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsPossession of a valid drivers license appropriate for the type of equipment to be operated.
OSHA forklift certification preferred, or have the ability to pass operator test for certification. Additional Eligibility QualificationsEnglish language fluency, verbal and written.
Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check and drug/alcohol test.

What You'll Do:
Operate center oscillating Pettibone and Doosan forklifts in an oilfield pipe yard environment to load, unload, and transport pipe and tubular materials.Load and unload pipe and other materials from trucks and railcars, ensuring proper handling and secure placement.

What We're Looking For:
A high school diploma or equivalent education with zero to two (0-2) years experience in oilfield or trucking operations; an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
