Duties Prepare surfaces meticulously through cleaning, sanding, caulking, plastering, and surface priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and durability Execute painting tasks using a variety of tools including brushes, rollers, paint sprayers (conventional and construction spray painting), and power tools to achieve smooth, even finishes Apply coatings accurately on different surfaces such as walls, ceilings, trim, fixtures, and structural elements in residential and commercial settings Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to determine specifications for renovation or remodeling projects Maintain strict adherence to safety regulations by utilizing respiratory protection, proper ladder use, and following safety protocol guidelines at all times Perform surface preparation for construction painting projects including sanding, patching, and sealing surfaces to ensure long-lasting results Install fixtures or perform handyman tasks such as caulking or minor repairs as needed during painting projects Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure project specifications are met efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality Experience Proven experience in construction site painting with a solid understanding of construction estimating and blueprint reading Skilled in residential painting techniques including brush painting, roller painting, and coating application for both interior and exterior surfaces Familiarity with commercial painting processes such as structural painting surface preparation and coating application on larger scale projects Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (including conventional spraying), and surface preparation equipment Knowledge of color theory for effective visual color comparison and matching during projects Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately for precise application of paint in renovation or remodeling projects Strong understanding of safety regulations related to construction painting including respiratory protection protocols and safe ladder use Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to paint quantities, coverage estimates, and surface area assessments Experience with plastering, caulking, fixture installation, or handyman tasks is a plus for versatile project support Join us if you're passionate about craftsmanship in construction painting!
