We are looking for a process-driven and experienced painter to join our team. You'll be responsible for visiting homes and businesses to perform interior and exterior paint jobs, including touch-ups on old paint, filling in drywall holes, and mixing paint colors. The ideal candidate has great communication skills, is familiar with scaffold assembly, using hand and power tools, and understands the importance of maintaining a clean space. Responsibilities:

Coat painted surfaces with primer or sealer Cover trim, fixtures, furniture, and floors to protect them from paint Use job specifications to mix and match paint and stains Fill holes and cracks with putt, and sand away old paint to prepare surfaces for painting Clean up work area once project is finished Prepare surfaces for painting and staining, including sanding, masking, scraping, and cleaning Apply paints, stains, and finishes to exterior wood surfaces, fences, decks, railings, and log structures Perform detailed finish work with a high level of quality Protect surrounding areas and maintain clean job sites Operate painting equipment and tools safely Communicate professionally with customers and team members Maintain materials, tools, and equipment Follow company quality and safety standards

Qualifications:

Driver's license required A high school diploma or GED is preferred We prefer candidates with 2 years work experience and a completed apprenticeship, but not required Strong communication skills, time management skills and attention to detail Should have general knowledge of painting techniques and tools, but we are willing to provide training Professional painting experience required Experience with exterior staining and wood finishes preferred Experience with log home staining or restoration is a plus Strong attention to detail and finish quality Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated Ability to work independently and with a team About Company We are a locally owned group of businesses serving the Wood River Valley, focused on providing essential services to homeowners, contractors, and businesses.
