Responsibilities Prepare surfaces thoroughly through sanding, scraping, cleaning, and surface repairs such as drywall patching, caulking, and plastering to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply paint using various methods including brush painting and roller painting. Perform construction surface preparation tasks such as sanding, priming, and coating application on diverse surfaces including drywall, wood and metal structures. Use ladders safely for elevated work while following all safety regulations and protocols related to height work and respiratory protection. Conduct quality checks through visual color comparison to ensure color accuracy and consistency across all painted surfaces. Maintain a clean work environment by properly storing tools like paint sprayers, brushes, rollers, and other hand tools; also responsible for fixture installation and restoration work as needed. Skills Proven experience in residential painting and commercial paintiing. Familiarity with construction site safety regulations including respiratory protection measures and safety protocol adherence. Skilled in surface preparation techniques such as plastering repairs and caulking.
