Experienced painter On The Wall Painting Canton, MI Job Details Temporary $25 - $40 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Maintaining an organized workspace Construction painting Carpentry repair tasks Ladder use Minor facility damage repair Renovation painting Full Job Description Experienced Painter / Light Carpentry - Seasonal Position On The Wall Painting is looking for an experienced, dependable painter to join our team for the remainder of our busy season. This is a seasonal position running from now through the beginning of October. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and understands the importance of keeping a clean and professional jobsite. Responsibilities Interior and exterior painting Proper surface preparation, including sanding, scraping, caulking, filling, and patching Brush, roll, and spray application as needed Light carpentry, including replacing trim/wood boards and completing minor repairs Proper masking and protection of floors, furniture, landscaping, and other surfaces Maintaining a clean and organized jobsite throughout the project Daily cleanup of work areas Requirements Professional painting experience required Comfortable performing light carpentry and wood/trim repairs Strong attention to detail and quality Reliable and punctual — showing up on time is extremely important Clean, organized, and respectful of customers' homes and property Must have reliable transportation Able to work independently as well as with a crew Professional attitude and good communication Must be able to perform the physical requirements of painting and carpentry work, including working from ladders Position Details Seasonal position: Now through early October Full-time hours available during the season Projects primarily consist of residential interior and exterior painting Pay based on experience and skill level We are looking for someone who can step in and contribute immediately.
