In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, stain, and other finishes to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality results that enhance the appearance and durability of residential, commercial, and industrial structures. Your expertise will help transform spaces through precise craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of color coordination and surface preparation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from renovation and restoration to new construction, contributing to the creation of visually stunning environments. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and power tools. Read blueprints and schematics to determine project scope, surface areas, color schemes, and specific finishing requirements. Perform construction painting tasks on residential homes, commercial buildings, industrial facilities, and renovation sites with precision and efficiency. Utilize construction estimating skills to assess material needs and project timelines accurately. Execute specialized techniques such as stucco application, masonry finishing, drywall repair, trim carpentry, fixture installation, and welding when necessary for restoration or remodeling projects. Maintain safety standards on construction sites by properly handling tools like scaffolding equipment and ensuring compliance with safety protocols during all phases of work. Skills Extensive experience with residential and commercial painting projects across various construction environments. Strong knowledge of color theory to achieve desired aesthetic effects. Proficiency in using hand tools (brushes, rollers), power tools (airless sprayers), scaffolding equipment, and welding tools. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings for accurate project execution. Skilled in surface preparation techniques including plastering, caulking, sanding, and masonry finishing. Familiarity with renovation processes such as restoration work and remodeling projects involving carpentry (trim carpentry & frame carpentry). Basic math skills for measurements and estimating materials; knowledge of schematics for industrial painting applications.
