Job Description:

Experienced Painter We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Experienced Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in preparing surfaces, applying professional finishes to interior and exterior structures, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Core Responsibilities & Daily Tasks Surface Preparation:

Inspect, clean, scrape, sand, and prime walls, trim, and other surfaces before painting. Patch cracks, holes, and drywall imperfections using spackle or joint compound.

Taping & Protection:

Mask off trim, windows, outlets, and flooring using painter's tape, drop cloths, and plastic sheeting to protect property from splatters.

Paint Application:

Skillfully apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and airless spray equipment. Match colors and mix finishes to precise specifications.

Exterior & Interior Maintenance:

Work on both indoor rooms and outdoor structures (siding, decks, fences), including set-up and work from ladders, scaffolding, or lifts.

Job Site Care:

Maintain a clean and safe work area, proper storage and disposal of materials, and clean tools thoroughly at the end of each day.

Client Interaction & Quality Control:

Perform final walkthroughs to ensure customer satisfaction, fix touch-ups, and communicate progress effectively. Qualifications & Skills 2+ years of proven experience as a commercial or residential painter. Solid knowledge of painting materials, color matching, and application techniques. Proficiency with hand tools, power sanders, and airless paint sprayers. Strong physical stamina, balance, and manual dexterity to work on ladders and in tight spaces. High attention to detail and reliable work ethic. Reliable transportation and a vaild driver's licence.

Pay:

$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
