Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential, commercial, and industrial painting projects, with a strong understanding of various painting techniques, surface preparation, and finishing. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a wide range of skills including, masking, caulking, and the use of power tools. Candidates should be committed to safety, quality workmanship, and efficient project completion. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply paint, stain, or coatings using brushes, rollers, airless spray equipment, or other tools. Perform surface repairs such as plastering, caulking, and patching to ensure smooth finishes. Install fixtures Work on both residential and commercial projects involving renovation and remodeling tasks. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during all phases of painting. Maintain a clean work environment and ensure safety protocols are followed on-site. Requirements Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, construction painting, or industrial painting. Skilled in the use of hand tools such as brushes, rollers, caulking guns, trowels, and scrapers; experience with power tools including airless sprayers is preferred. Strong understanding of safety procedures related to working on construction sites. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to project specifications. Valid construction site experience with knowledge of schematics and renovation processes is desirable. Handyman experience or experience in masonry or remodeling projects will be considered a plus.
