Overview Join our dynamic team as a Residential Painter and bring vibrant transformations to homes and living spaces! In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, stains, and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring each project meets high standards of quality and craftsmanship. Your expertise will help homeowners realize their renovation visions, creating inviting and beautiful environments. This position offers a chance to work on diverse projects, from simple touch-ups to full-scale remodels, utilizing your skills in various painting techniques and construction-related tasks. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and repairing drywall or plaster to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply primer, paint, stain, or finish coats using brushes, rollers, airless sprayers, or other power tools with precision and efficiency. Read blueprints, schematics, or schematics to accurately execute painting plans aligned with project specifications. Utilize hand tools such as scrapers, putty knives, caulking guns, and carpentry tools for minor repairs and trim work. Perform surface restoration including stucco repair, masonry touch-ups, or renovation work to enhance durability and appearance. Install fixtures or hardware as needed during remodeling projects while maintaining safety standards on construction sites. Use basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary for accurate application of paint or finishes. Demonstrate knowledge of color theory to select appropriate hues and finishes that complement the environment. Operate power tools such as sanders, drills, or saws safely while adhering to all safety protocols. Collaborate with team members on construction estimating tasks when required for project planning. Experience Proven experience in residential painting with a strong understanding of construction painting techniques. Familiarity with commercial painting projects and construction site environments. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying equipment, and scaffolding setup. Knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics for accurate project execution. Skills in plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, masonry repair, and restoration work are highly desirable. Background in renovation projects involving framing carpentry, drywall installation, fixture installation, or concrete finishing is advantageous. Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations. Experience working on construction sites with safety awareness and adherence to protocols.
