Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various painting techniques and be comfortable working in both residential and industrial settings. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all work meets our high standards of excellence. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Mix and match colors according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints or schematics to understand project requirements. Use power tools and other equipment safely and effectively. Perform caulking and plastering tasks as needed to ensure smooth finishes. Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards are met. Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the project duration. Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters and concrete finishers, to complete projects efficiently. Qualifications Proven experience as a Painter in residential or industrial settings. Familiarity with different painting techniques and materials. Basic math skills for measuring and calculating paint requirements. Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively. Knowledge of construction estimating is a plus. Experience with airless paint spraying is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship. Ability to read schematics and follow instructions accurately. Candidates who possess additional skills such as concrete finishing or plastering will be given preference but are not required for application.
