• What You Will Do:

• + Operates painting equipment and auxiliary equipment.

+ Tests and mixes paint as required. + Keeps paint pots supplied with paint of correct quality. + Starts up and shuts down the equipment as required. + Observes rods on conveyors as they pass through the unit, culling out crooked rods. + Keeps rods separated and packaged for each separate size and grade. Paints identification color on protectors. + Responsible for quality and quantity of work helpers. + Obtains reasonable production with minimum supervision. + Maintains work area and equipment in a clean and orderly manner. + Informs supervisor of any malfunction of equipment.

• Minimum Qualifications:

• + Two year technical degree or equivalent education and/or experience. Valid driver's license in state of residence required.

• Physical Demands:

• + Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs regularly, and 100 lbs occasionally.

+ Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. + The employee is regularly required to talk or hear. + The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. + Employee is required to occasionally walk in customer field locations which may include inclines, uneven surfaces, and a variety of weather conditions. + Employee must be able to regularly bend, stoop, crawl, lay down, twist and push. + Employee is required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment including but not limited to shoes/boots, hard hats, or respirators.
