$20 - $35 per hour Description John Byrne Painting is seeking an experienced Painter Foreman to lead and manage painting crews on Residential, Commercial and Institutional job sites. This role requires strong leadership, hands-on painting expertise, and the ability to coordinate daily work activities while maintaining high quality painting and safety standards. The ideal candidate has strong experience in the painting industry, leadership capabilities, and the ability to oversee projects while working closely with customers, project managers, and crew members. Overview As a Painter Foreman, you will be responsible for supervising painting crews, coordinating daily job activities, maintaining accurate records of work performed, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely. You will serve as the primary point of coordination between the field crew and project management. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a crew of painters on job sites Manage daily job operations and ensure projects stay on schedule Communicate with customers and project managers regarding project updates Maintain daily logs of crew time and work descriptions Ensure all painting work meets company quality standards Maintain job site safety and compliance with regulations Train and mentor painters and crew members Coordinate materials, equipment, and workflow on site Requirements 5+ years of professional painting experience Valid driver's license Legal authorization to work in the United States Ability to pass a background check required for working in schools Experience managing a crew and running painting job sites Strong communication skills with customers and project managers Ability to maintain daily work and crew activity records Ability to communicate effectively in English Nice to Have Bilingual (English/Spanish) Experience with wall coverings Drywall repair experience Carpentry skills Experience with epoxy garage floor coatings Knowledge of different paint products and materials OSHA 30 training Experience with lead paint removal Benefits Sales bonuses Overtime pay Growth opportunities Pay reviews Travel reimbursement Optional Benefits available after 1 year: 401(k) retirement plan Health insurance Dental insurance Vacation pay
