In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, stain, and other finishes to a variety of surfaces in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance their durability, and bring aesthetic visions to life. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about craftsmanship, detail-oriented work, and contributing to high-quality projects. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and repairing imperfections to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply paint, stains, primers, and sealants using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and power tools Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately determine project scope and specifications Perform specialty finishes including stucco, masonry coatings, industrial painting, restoration work, and renovation projects Use carpentry skills such as trim carpentry, frame carpentry, drywall installation, and fixture installation to prepare surfaces for painting Mix paints and color matching based on color theory principles to achieve desired aesthetic effects Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols on construction sites and properly handling tools like welding equipment and scaffolding Experience Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, or construction painting with a strong understanding of construction estimating processes Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding setup, and the use of industrial equipment such as airless sprayers and welding tools Knowledge of construction site safety procedures and ability to read blueprints or schematics accurately Familiarity with plastering, caulking techniques, masonry work, concrete finishing, restoration projects, and remodeling tasks Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for precise application of materials Demonstrated ability to work efficiently on construction sites with a focus on quality craftsmanship in renovation or maintenance projects Additional handyman experience or skills in carpentry or masonry are considered valuable assets Join us if you're eager to apply your diverse skill set in a fast-paced environment where your craftsmanship makes a visible difference!
