Works under the direct supervision of the Director of Plant Operations. Paints interiors and exteriors of building. Prepares wood, metal, plaster, and sheet rock surfaces for painting with the use of spray guns, rollers, and brushes. Performs non-painting duties as may be required by the Director of Plant Maintenance.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

Completes all preparatory work prior to applying paint. Such work to include preparing the various surfaces to be painted; doing plaster and tile repair; and applying sealers and base coats as required. Moves furniture in the areas to be painted, and covers surfaces such as carpet, and furniture as required. Orders an appropriate amount of paint considering the surfaces to be covered, and mixes as required by using thinners and epoxies. Performs other duties as assigned.
