Job Description

Pay is based on experience. Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various painting techniques, including residential and commercial painting, as well as experience in construction environments. This role requires a keen eye for color theory and an understanding of construction processes to ensure high-quality finishes on a variety of projects. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as necessary. Apply paint, stains, and finishes using various techniques, including airless paint spraying and brush application. Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure timely completion of projects. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for painting tasks. Perform maintenance tasks such as caulking and minor repairs as needed. Conduct final inspections of finished work to ensure quality standards are met. Requirements Proven experience in residential and commercial painting. Experience in reading blueprints. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment related to painting tasks. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality finishes. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
