Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both residential and commercial painting, with experience in various construction environments. This role requires attention to detail, a good understanding of color theory, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on various projects. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as needed Apply paint using various techniques including airless paint spraying and brush application Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements Perform plastering, caulking, and other finishing tasks to ensure a smooth surface Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to complete projects efficiently Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, including power tools and hand tools Execute renovations and restorations with precision while adhering to safety standards Assist in fixture installation and other carpentry-related tasks as required Conduct maintenance work as needed to uphold quality standards Requirements Proven experience in residential and commercial painting Strong knowledge of construction practices including estimating and renovation techniques Familiarity with color theory and the ability to mix paints accurately Experience with hand tools, power tools, and industrial painting equipment Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction documents Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to painting tasks Previous experience on construction sites is preferred Skills in plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, frame carpentry, masonry, concrete finishing, welding, maintenance person tasks are advantageous Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work Join our team of dedicated professionals who take pride in their craftsmanship.
