This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from utility installations to oil and gas pipelines, in a fast-paced environment. As a Pipe Layer, you will be at the forefront of laying the foundation for essential infrastructure, ensuring precision and safety at every step. If you thrive on hands-on work, teamwork, and building something lasting, this is the perfect role for you! Duties Read and interpret detailed blueprints, construction plans, and technical drawings to accurately lay out pipeline routes. Dig trenches and foundations using excavators and other machinery, ensuring proper depth and alignment according to specifications. Install pipes with precision using pipe lasers and welding techniques to ensure secure connections and optimal flow. Conduct utility locating to identify existing underground utilities before digging to prevent damage or accidents. Perform concrete finishing tasks around pipe installations and assist with concrete forming when necessary. Maintain safety standards by adhering to construction site protocols, operating equipment responsibly, and wearing appropriate protective gear. Requirements . Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, pipe laser alignment, concrete finishing, welding, and plumbing installation techniques. Familiarity with pipeline construction processes within oil & gas or utility sectors is highly desirable. Ability to perform utility locating accurately to avoid underground hazards during excavation. Construction site experience demonstrating knowledge of safety procedures and teamwork in demanding environments. Skilled in concrete forming and finishing work to ensure durable pipeline foundations. Valid certifications or licenses related to heavy equipment operation are preferred; willingness to obtain necessary credentials is a plus.
