Job Summary:
A pipefitter is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various piping systems in industrial, commercial, and sometimes residential settings. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately plan and execute piping layouts. Experienced in selecting appropriate pipe types and sizes, as well as utilizing a range of tools and techniques including cutting, threading, bending, welding (SMAW, TIG, GMAW), soldering, brazing, and cementing to join pipes and fittings. Adept at installing supports, hangers, valves, and other related equipment. Committed to ensuring system integrity through pressure testing and strict adherence to safety regulations and industry codes. Possesses strong problem-solving skills, excellent hand-eye coordination, and the physical dexterity required for demanding tasks in diverse environments
