The ideal candidate will have experience installing underground process and utility piping, working from construction drawings, and performing high-quality pipe installations in a heavy civil construction environment. • Minimum 3 years of pipelaying experience on heavy civil, utility, water, or wastewater construction projects.
• Experience working within water and wastewater treatment plants.
• Demonstrated experience installing ductile iron pipe (DIP) and PVC pipe below grade.
• Proficient in assembling and installing mechanical joint (MJ) and flanged piping systems.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and utility plans.
• Knowledge of excavation safety, trench shoring, and underground utility construction practices.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding construction activities.
• Reliable transportation to and from project sites.
