Looking for a Fire Sprinkler Fitter - Full-Time position Read Before Applying Minimum 5 years of hands-on, verifiable experience installing or fabricating fire sprinkler systems (steel and CPVC piping, standpipes, fire pumps, or underground fire mains). General plumbing, HVAC, or handyman experience does not qualify. High school diploma or GED. Valid driver's license and a clear criminal record (required for insurance and bonding purposes). Legally authorized to work in the United States — we do not sponsor work visas. Able to pass a physical-fitness / functional-capacity check for lifting, climbing, bending, and standing for extended periods. Willing to travel daily to local job sites, and to work nights or weekends when a job requires it. About the Role The Fire Sprinkler Fitter has a solid working knowledge of NFPA standards, OSHA regulations, and the mechanics of fire sprinkler system installation. This is an organized self-starter with strong communication skills who can read blueprints and specifications, follow a project schedule, and attend job site meetings. A sprinkler fitter installs all types of fire-protection systems, including steel and CPVC piping, fire pumps, standpipes, hose systems, and underground piping — including private service fire mains, hydrants, pits, and underground control valves. This includes cutting, threading, assembling, and bonding pipe and tubing to specification. What We Expect On the Job Demonstrate a "team player," can-do attitude on every job site. Be punctual and reliable — this is a scheduled, crew-based trade. Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times. Comply with all company and job-site safety requirements. Work Environment / Job Conditions This position requires frequent walking, standing, bending, and reaching. You must be able to navigate the job site safely and comply with all safety requirements in the office and in the field. Heavy equipment may be used, and you must be able to lift heavy objects.
