Responsibilities Install, assemble, and maintain gas pipelines, pipefitting systems, and sprinkler systems according to construction plans and blueprints Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure precise installation of piping systems Perform welding tasks including MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and pipe welding using appropriate safety protocols Use hand tools and power tools safely to cut, thread, bend tubes, solder pipes, and perform fabrication tasks in compliance with ASME codes & standards and NFPA standards Conduct pipe threading, tube bending, soldering, and fire sprinkler fitting with accuracy and attention to detail Follow all safety regulations and protocols during installation processes to maintain a safe work environment on construction sites Collaborate with team members to interpret construction plans and technical drawings for efficient project execution Maintain equipment, tools, and work areas in a clean and organized manner while adhering to safety procedures Perform routine maintenance on installed systems to ensure optimal operation and compliance with safety standards Skills Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW welding techniques; experience with welding preferred Strong ability to read blueprints, construction plans, technical drawings, and schematics accurately Mechanical knowledge of piping systems, pipe threading, pipe installation, pipeline assembly, and maintenance practices Skilled in using hand tools such as pipe wrenches, threaders, benders; adept with power tools including saws and drills for construction tasks Knowledge of NFPA standards related to fire sprinkler fitting and safety regulations governing gas system installation Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately for precise fabrication and installation of piping systems Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety protocol adherence; familiarity with OSHA guidelines is a plus Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to pipe dimensions and system layouts Familiarity with ASME codes & standards applicable to piping fabrication and welding practices Capable of tube bending techniques necessary for custom piping configurations in complex installations Join us in delivering top-tier gas solutions by applying your technical expertise in a fast-paced environment that values safety, quality craftsmanship, and professional growth!
