The Pipefitter responsibilities include installing, assembling, fusing, testing, and supporting Aquatherm polypropylene (PP-R/PP-RCT) piping systems for chilled water and mechanical cooling applications on a large-scale, ground-up data center project. The ideal candidate will have commercial or industrial pipefitting experience, strong blueprint-reading and layout skills, and experience with Aquatherm or other thermoplastic fusion piping systems; Aquatherm experience is preferred but training may be provided.Pay Range:
$32.00- $35.

Inquire about shift availabilityEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install and assemble Aquatherm
PP-R/PP-RCT
chilled water and mechanical piping systems.- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, piping isometrics, specifications, and BIM layouts.
- Measure, cut, prepare, align, and assemble piping according to project specifications.
- Perform socket and butt fusion using manufacturer-approved Aquatherm equipment.
- Install pipe hangers, supports, anchors, guides, valves, strainers, and equipment connections.
- Verify proper pipe alignment, slope, spacing, and support locations.
- Perform hydrostatic pressure testing, flushing, and system startup support.
- Maintain clean fusion surfaces and ensure joints meet manufacturer quality standards.
- Coordinate work with mechanical trades, electricians, general contractors, and other site personnel.
- Follow OSHA regulations, site-specific safety requirements, and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Meet daily production goals while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Complete required quality control, inspection, and project documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and support overall project safety and schedule requirements.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of commercial or industrial pipefitting experience.
- Experience with chilled water, hydronic, HVAC, or process piping systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, piping drawings, and specifications.
- Proficiency with common pipefitting tools and equipment.
- Aquatherm fusion certification or previous Aquatherm experience preferred, but not required.
- Experience with data centers, mission-critical facilities, central utility plants, mechanical contractors, PP-R, HDPE, thermoplastic fusion piping, Victaulic grooved piping, rigging, or equipment setting is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, measuring, layout, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to work from ladders, lifts, scaffolding, elevated areas, and confined spaces when necessary.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors, including various weather conditions.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and extended shifts as project requirements dictate.
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass required pre-employment screening.
