Traveling Pipefitter

PJS is seeking traveling Pipefitters.

• Fitters pay DOE
• Per diem $180 a day x 7
• Mileage $.60 mile in/out every job
• 60 - 70 hrs. per week Basic Qualifications
• Basic math, reading, and comprehension skills Knowledge of the layout, fit-up, alignment tolerances, fabrication, and installation of pipe, flanges, and valves
• must have the ability to read and understand P&ID drawings
• Experience running piping through active industrial production facilities is required.
• Experience working with butt weld, socket weld and screw pipe systems
• Ability to field route piping where appropriate and required by the client.
• Working with welded, threaded, Victaulic piping, carbon, and stainless steel.

Requirements of the

Pipe Fitter:

Flexibility to travel between projects on a weekly basis. Flexibility to work outside of your trade. Flexibility to travel between DC, Baltimore and Aberdeen, MD. 2-5 Years previous pipefitter experience. Understanding of plans, specifications, P&IDs, and ISOs. Self-Starter - Ability to work alone on a project, and as part of a team. Effective verbal communication skills.

Pay:

$34.00 - $36.00 per hour
