Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Pipe Guy to join our dynamic team. This role involves executing pipe fabrication, installation, and welding tasks on diverse construction projects. The ideal candidate will bring mechanical expertise, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for safety to ensure efficient project completion and adherence to industry standards.

Responsibilities:

Install, fit, and assemble mechanical piping systems Read and interpret construction drawings, isometrics, and specifications Layout, measure, cut, thread, and fit pipe Install valves, pumps, supports, and related equipment Work with PVC, HDPE, ductile iron, stainless steel, and other piping materials Ensure installations meet project specifications and safety standards Work closely with welders, laborers, and the project superintendent

Qualifications:

Previous mechanical piping experience, preferably in water/wastewater treatment plants Ability to read blueprints and piping drawings Strong knowledge of pipe installation and mechanical systems Ability to work safely in an active construction environment Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic OSHA 10/30 and relevant certifications are a plus Join us at Sawcross, Inc. where your expertise will contribute to impactful infrastructure projects while working in a safety-focused environment that values craftsmanship and innovation.
