Decatur, Illinois, United States Job Description Job Description/Duties :
Construct, modify, and dismantle temporary elevated work platforms and structural frameworks used inside/outside of the plant facility.- Erect and dismantle various types of scaffolding (i.e., tube, coupler, ring pole, welded buck, field-built, suspension).
- Climb ladders, work from heights, handle heavy materials, and ensure all scaffolding systems are built safely and in compliance with company procedures/industry standards.
- Safely lift and maneuver materials weighing at 50+ pounds overhead.
- Operate hand and power tools relevant to scaffold construction.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, procedures, and work instructions.
- Determine appropriate type(s) of scaffold required for each project based on procedures, drawings, and specifications.
- Use basic measuring tools to perform straight and angle cuts.

Qualifications/Required Skills :
3-5 years of experience in an Industrial Plant setting.- Pass a background check and drug screening.
- High School diploma or GED.
