Job Description
Job Summary AXIOS Industrial Solutions is seeking experienced Offshore Pipeline Welders for assignment aboard a pipeline barge. Candidates must have proven pipeline welding experience and be proficient in downhill welding using E8010 electrodes. Requirements Proven experience as a Pipeline Welder Must be proficient in burning 8010 rods downhill Experience working in pipeline construction and/or pipeline barge operations Must successfully pass a weld test Welds must pass required X-ray (RT) and visual inspection Must have O/S Certifications (TWIC, HUET, Rig Pass/SafeGulf, etc.) Ability to consistently produce code-quality welds Must be safety-conscious, dependable, and able to work in a marine/pipeline environment Experience is required. This is not an entry-level welding position. Candidates must be able to demonstrate their ability during testing.
